May 14-18 Book fair

May 25 - Memorial Day program 9:30am

May 27 or 28 - paint the playground

May 30 - Mrs. Skoglund penpal field trip

May 31 - Friendly's fundraiser, stop by for food or ice cream

June events

June 4th - first grade trip to Lowell textile mill

June 7th - second grade trip

June 8th - field day

June 14th - last day of school

had a fall festival

brought a fossil program to school

brought Benjamin Franklin presentation to school

sponsored whole school field trip to Portsmouth Music Hall

This site is run by the Walnut Square School PTO. It is intended to keep parents and caregivers informed of the coming and goings of the school including: 

• Volunteer Opportunities;
• PTO meetings and minutes;
• Fund-raising information;
• Charity Drives
• Upcoming events.

The purpose of the PTO (Parent Teacher Organization) is to raise money to fund student activities, including but not limited to: buses for field trips, field day, and playground supplies.  The PTO also organizes teacher luncheons, book fairs, and the classroom giving tree.

The PTO holds monthly meetings open to all  in the Walnut Square School.  

 We look forward to working with you during the 2011-2012 school year!
