Walnut Square PTO

January and February 2012

During the months of January and February, we will collect money to support Haverhill's Community Meals program.  The local non-profit provides a warm nutritious meal in a social setting on Monday nights at the Citizen's Center.  The organization operates strictly on donations.  The Walnut Square community can sponsor the meal on February 13th for $250.  We would like to meet that goal and provide a team of volunteers to help chef and President Donald Herook to prepare and serve dinner on the evening of the meal.  Baked goods for 150 diners will also be needed.  Each Monday his program feeds about 150 people.  Monetary donations can be sent to classrooms.  Please contact Lauren Towler to volunteer.
